VIDEO: A small plane made an emergency crash landing on the golf course at Haggin Oaks on Sunday, coming to rest at the pro shop, the Sacramento Fire Department said. The pilot walked away with a minor cut to his hand. No one else was hurt.
The Sacramento Fire Department said it responded to a report of a plane crashing into a building at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex after 1 p.

VIDEO/PHOTO: After a wireless phone charger from Baseus caught fire in Farmington Hills last February, a nationwide investigation was launched.
As a result, approximately 132,000 Baseus Magnetic Wireless Charging Power Banks have been recalled across the United States as of June 27.
"The lithium-ion battery in the power banks can overheat, posing a fire hazard," according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

PHOTOS: Gov. Jay Inslee issued a statewide emergency proclamation Friday due to recent summer wildfires.
"Since June 2024, our state has experienced abnormally dry weather conditions with periods of exceptionally high temperatures, creating high-risk fuel conditions in many areas," Inslee wrote in a statement.

PHOTOS: On Friday, Enumclaw Fire answered a call about a rollover crash near the intersection of 212th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 400th Street.
When crews arrived they found an SUV and a dump truck involved in the crash with three people trapped.
The crash broke a nearby power pole and power lines.

Tenant evacuations, SWAT units, fire and gunshots set the scene of a barricade situation at a Seattle apartment complex Saturday afternoon.
At about 1:30 p.m. on August 3, the King County Sheriff's Office received reports of a possible court order violation at an apartment complex in the area of South 114th Street and Rainier Avenue South.
