PHOTOS: Several semi-trucks, utility poles and at least one RV were involved in a large fire in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood Tuesday afternoon. Last Thursday, the Anacortes Fire Department celebrated the centennial birthday of the newly restored fire engine, Engine 2, and the first birthday of their new fire truck, Truck 29. The AFD conducted a ceremonial “push in” ceremony for their new firetruck. The new vehicle is a 2024 Pierce Aerial Ladder Truck, and it replaced their 2000 American LaFrance ladder truck.
