High winds Sunday didn’t contribute to much growth on the Schneider Springs Fire. As of Monday morning, the fire 18 miles northwest of Naches was 67,534 acres with 3% containment, according to a Monday morning update from the fire incident team. "Wind was a high concern from the predicted weather going into the day, but the fire remained mostly on the ground and the winds did not contribute to any significant fire growth," the update said.

Firefighters were continuing to make progress on containing the Green Ridge Fire and Lick Creek Fires this weekend. Both fires maintained their size Friday night, according to an update released by the Rocky Mountain Incident Management Team Black (RMIMTB) on Saturday. The Green Ridge fire is now at 39,325 acres.

Firefighters continue to put in good work and have more of the Ford-Corkscrew Fire contained. Stevens County Fire District No.1 said on Monday night the wildfire was 56-percent contained and had 15,787 acres. Monday will be the last planned night for crews to be out. They will be working until midnight and then reassigned to the day shift.
