AstraZeneca scored a win on Friday as data showed its antibody cocktail is 77 percent effective at preventing symptomatic COVID-19 in high-risk populations. The research found no one who took AstraZeneca’s combination, called AZD7442, developed severe COVID-19 or died due to the virus. A woman is in the hospital and clinging to life after a house fire early Friday morning in unincorporated Edmonds. Firefighters say neighbors called them to the home just before 3 a.m. in the 5300 block of 134th Place SW. There, crews found a home with flames bursting out of the front door when someone told them the woman was still inside.
