A fire at a south King County senior living facility Wednesday morning displaced 12 people. The fire broke out at Solstice Senior Living at Renton, located on Monroe Avenue Northeast, shortly before 2 a.m. Puget Sound Fire said the cause of the burn was determined to be electrical. VIDEO: A pilot was killed after a small plane crashed into a shopping center parking lot at a Texas shopping center on Tuesday, authorities said. Police in Plano, 20 miles north of Dallas, said the aircraft crashed directly outside a nail salon and Mama's Daughter's Diner, just before 6 p.m. "The pilot unfortunately lost their life in the tragic accident," police said in a statement on X.
