A house fire in the Seattle neighborhood of Judkins Park broke out Tuesday morning and a person can be seen fleeing the area in a neighbor’s security camera video.
The Seattle Fire Department (SFD) crews responded to the fire at the single-story home at 24th Avenue South & South Holgate Street, near the Coleman Playground, just after 8 a.

VIDEO: Spokane fire crews are working to knock down a house fire in north Spokane.
The Spokane Fire Department and Spokane County Fire District 9 responded to a working fire near the 8600 block of North Northview Road on the evening of Oct. 24.
SFD told NonStop Local that all homeowners and animals were evacuated safely from the home while fire crews worked to contain the blaze.

Thanks to a partnership between the Gary Sinise Foundation and Amazon, the Seattle Fire Department is receiving a $150,000 grant. The funds will support the department’s behavioral health programs and provides special gloves for every firefighter.

Hoquiam Fire Chief Matt Miller spoke on Monday during the city council meeting to give a report about their involvement over the weekend with the 2023 Sound the Alarm event.
The event, done in cooperation with the Aberdeen Fire Department and the American Red Cross, looked to ensure that homes had working smoke detectors, and offered free installation for homeowners.
