PHOTO: On Thursday, Clark County’s Fire District 6 unveiled its new fire engine at its Felida Station during an honorary “Push-In” ceremony.
The engine’s construction was a two-year-long joint effort between La Gear Engineers, Pierce Manufacturing and members of District 6; it will primarily serve Lake Shore and Felida.

PHOTOS: Massive flames erupted in Brazoria County Thursday due to a chemical release in pipelines at an INEOS remote valve site, a spokesperson for the company said.
The Brazoria County Fire Marshal’s Office said the fire emergency happened near FM 2917 and FM 2004.
According to INEOS, ethylene and propylene gases were released.

The search for the suspect who shot and seriously injured two Birmingham firefighters continues, and more reward money is now offered for information leading to the gunman.

Damar Hamlin is giving the spotlight to those who helped save his life.
The Buffalo Bills safety, 25, got emotional on stage at Wednesday night’s ESPY Awards as he honored the first responders who helped save his life after his cardiac arrest during a January game.
Before handing them the Pat Tillman Award for Service, Hamlin told his story in a video, saying, “I didn't wake up that morning in January thinking that I would need someone to save my life that day, and I doubt that the staff thought that they had to do what they did either.

Many firefighters are being taken off the lines of the 2,300-acre Baird Springs Fire in Grant County.
They’re making significant process and demobilizing with the fire 95-percent contained.
The fire started June 10th and was a threat to homes near Quincy. All evacuation orders have been reduced to level one.
