VIDEO: A man was arrested Tuesday after throwing a brick into a Seattle Fire Department (SFD) medic truck, the Seattle Police Department said.
The suspect, 60, is accused of throwing the brick into the windshield of the SFD Medic 18 truck near the intersection of North 45th Street and Bagley Avenue North in Seattle's Wallingford neighborhood.

VIDEO: Pierce County Fire Marshals continued their search for what caused a roaring brush fire that destroyed a home in Parkland and threatened several others.
The fire happened Tuesday afternoon along Brookdale Road East. During the investigation, fire agencies across the region were worried the dry weather conditions for the next several days could pose similar risks in other communities.

Renton Regional Fire Authority is highlighting its all-women firefighting team that responded to a plane crash Monday morning. We caught up with two of the women about the response and the efforts to get more women into firefighting.
“We train a lot and we train often, but aircraft incidents are a rarity,” said Renton firefighter and EMT Jessica Clearman.

Life took a sudden turn early Saturday morning when Leier got a phone call about a neighbor's house going up in flames.

A fiery crash on U.S. Highway 75 in Plano brought traffic to a halt Wednesday morning and also produced heavy smoke in the area, as crews were letting fuel burn off.
The crash and fire happened around 5:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Highway 75 near Parker Road. The crash involved a tractor-trailer, and two people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
