A toddler with a gunshot wound was found at a south King County fire station Friday morning.
According to the Tukwila Police Department (TPD), officers responded to multiple 911 calls around 9:30 a.m. reporting that a "female could be heard screaming on the phone" in the Allentown neighborhood of Tukwila.

The Stillaguamish Tribe has donated $396,700 to local emergency service first responders. The largest donation of $200,000 was given to the Snohomish County Fire District #21 who provide fire protection services for Arlington and Darrington. A second donation of $196,700 was given to the Snohomish County Fire District #25 who provide fire protection services for Granite Falls and Monroe.

VIDEO: Firefighters with the Seattle Fire Department responded to an encampment fire along northbound Interstate 5 in the area of Beacon Hill on Thursday afternoon, according to video from the scene.
At 2:32 p.m., crews responded to the fire on the east side of northbound I-5, near the Spokane Street exit.

PHOTOS: Firefighters were called to fight a fire at an abandoned tavern in North Portland on Wednesday night.
The call came in at about 7:30 p.m.
The fire was at The Barn Tavern at 7421 North Denver Ave.
According to Portland firefighters, the building was on their “unsafe building list” and there have been eight fires at the location in the last 12 months.

An Atlanta city council member is fighting to protect first responders who get hurt while choosing to respond to emergencies while off-duty.
Earlier this month, Atlanta News First highlighted how long-time Atlanta firefighter and paramedic, Lieutenant Mark Quick, witnessed a car crash in January while off duty and stopped to help, but he was hit by a car in the process.
