Investigators are probing the cause of a fire that killed Patrick Leon Lewis, 63, inside his home at 218 E. Lopez Ave. early Friday.
Port Angeles police identified Lewis on Saturday afternoon.
Friends of his at the Front Street Alibi restaurant, however, said earlier they were sure he was the man they knew as Leo Lewis, who raised German shepherds.

The Yakima Fire Department says the old swimming pool house for the old Washington pool at Martin Luther King Park caught on fire Friday morning.
Firefighters say the fire broke out at the building at the corner of Race St. and S 8th St. around 4:30 a.m. Crews were able to get the fire under control quickly.
