A devastating fire at a food bank in Pierce County forced it to close. The Spanaway Food Bank has helped people in need for decades, but its future is uncertain after a fire badly damaged the building on Friday morning. Firefighters say the food bank lost everything in the fire and the building is closed indefinitely.

A man set a nightclub on fire in Pioneer Square and surveillance cameras recorded his every move. Police are now using that footage in the hopes of tracking him down. The man appeared to be camping in front of Trinity on Occidental Ave. S when he started burning something against an outside wall. Once he started the fire he can be seen actually using his shirt to fan the flames to spread.

Buildings in Seattle’s University District are being evacuated as crews respond to a natural gas leak at a construction site. The gas leak began around 1:50 p.m. at the intersection of 45th Street and Brooklyn Ave NE — just a few blocks west of the University of Washington campus.
