The Seattle Fire Department (SFD) continues to deal with being the target of theft while on the job. The latest incident happened Thursday morning while Seattle firefighters were battling a large warehouse fire in the Chinatown-International District (CID) near the corner of 10th and King. Representatives with the Seattle Firefighters’ Union, IAFF Local 27, told KOMO News the attempted theft was interrupted as it was happening.

VIDEO: Kirkland firefighters said they are mourning the loss of their battalion chief and his wife after they were killed in a car crash on Friday. VIDEOS/PHOTOS: Phoenix Fire investigators are looking into a fire involving exploding propane tanks during the afternoon hours of July 20. The fire happened near 40th Street and Van Buren. According to Phoenix Fire officials, crews were called to the scene at around 5:00 p.m., and when they arrived at the scene, they found a large propane yard with five gallon propane tanks exploding over 500 yards in all directions.
